HYPE AND FEVER are a prolific Leicester-raised, London-based DJ, MC performance and production duo, consisting of the Kala-Lee brothers: Naveen (DJ, Hype Hyphen) and Bhumeet (Vocals/production, Cold Fever). The duo’s fresh sound pays respect to the past without being enslaved by it; they cut, match and mix the rhythms of their Jamaican and Indian heritage into a unique and experimental vibe that boasts individuality and innovation. Hype and Fever create an evocative and contemporary mélange by combining mainstream with the underground; where city streets meet suburban driveways. The brothers break away from the social norms and specialise in their own sound; often weaving together strands of Grime, Hip-hop, Dancehall, Bassline, Bhangra, & EDM. They, and their music, are as equally at home in Delhi, or London, as they are in Kingston.
